Free speech, but who’s watching?

Elon Musk often says how much he  supports free speech on Twitter. But it’s going to be tough to keep allowing that with some of the folks looking over his shoulder - including the Saudis who are the second largest investor in Twitter, and the Chinese who control access to China as a major financial market for Tesla.

Both countries have proven rather oppressive to free speech, with the Saudis recently sentencing an American citizen to 16 years in prison for tweets critical of the Saudi regime.

Musk might soon have to choose between his grand standing and his wallet.
