Bread
It’s clear that Trump has never bought bread before.
“Perfect Phone Call”
“It was a perfect phone call.” What even is that?? Trump tried to use that defense about his call to extort Ukraine and now is using it about his call asking to overturn the Georgia election.
Seriously? What does that even mean?? 🙄
Tucker, is that you?
Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News, amidst the fall-out from the Dominion settlement and allegations of sexism and harassment on Tucker’s show.
TV Bundle Licensing Fees
Any schadenfreude about Fox News’s huge payout to Dominion is tempered by the knowledge that anyone using a cable, satellite, or streaming live tv bundle is almost certainly paying licensing fees to Fox News, whether you want their channel or not.
Fox News is Deceitful Fiction
Whether it’s The Big Lie or Tucker Carlson’s rants about January 6th, Fox News is looking to corner the market in deceptive fiction. Just in time for the Oscars, too!
Fox News Lies for Ratings
Dominion is suing Fox News for defamation, spreading lies about their voting systems in support of The Big Lie about the 2020 election. In recently released discovery, Fox News hosts and execs had called The Big Lie “ludicrous” and “BS” among other things in private text messages. And yet they repeated false statements over and over out of fear of losing their audience. Which seems to show that Fox News will lie for ratings.
Don’t accept a news channel that will knowingly lie to you.
George Santos is a gift
If nothing else, George Santos is a gift to political cartoonists and late night tv writers everywhere.
George Santos
Unfortunately, putting an alleged pathological liar Congressman on the House Committee on Science seems about par for the course in America today. Sigh.
That guy is Awful
Yeah, I REALLY don’t like Tucker Carlson.
Now there’s a video going around yesterday off the pieces he edited it off his recent interview with Ye (aka Kanye West) that just reinforces how he manipulates things to make awful points.

Quantum Trumpism
While this isn’t a direct quote from Trump’s recent interview, let’s face it, it’s not too far off.
Standing Order
I’ve lost track, but I think this was excuse #3 from Trump and his team to explain the documents he said weren’t there, or were planted, or whatever.
Of course it’s a ridiculous statement and no way to manage classified information. That didn’t stop Trump’s team from trying to use it as a diversionary excuse.
But 18 former top Trump administration officials tell CNN they never heard any such order issued during their time working for Trump, and that they believe the claim to be patently false. Including two of Trump’s Chiefs of Staff, John Kelly and Mick Mulvaney.
Which is troubling. Cuz if they won’t let a former President get away with these lies, imagine what they can do to you.
Lie, My Pretties!
Unsurprisingly, the usual GOP subjects hit the airwaves and internet to decry the FBI raid on Trump’s home. Because why wait to find out the reason behind the raid and investigation? Instead they promote unfounded conspiracy theories, speculate about the FBI planting evidence, and spread baseless accusations about the process to get the federal warrant.
These are many of the same people who still spread lies about the election, January 6th, and believe that no one should be held accountable for January 6th.
Lies and more lies. Oh, and some even decided to publicly announce the home address of the judge who signed the warrant.
Predictably, some of their followers online are already calling for violence.
The lies and conspiracies from elected officials only help to stir up those dark thoughts. It’s irresponsible, at best. And lays bare their intended message that Trump should somehow be exempt from accountability. They’re the GOP version of the Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz; minions sent to do the bidding of the villain pulling the strings.
Lies and The Big Lie
Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) said on a podcast that some older lawmakers had invited him to participate in orgies while others had done "key bumps of cocaine" in front of him.
So now he’s in trouble with Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and has admitted his statements were exaggerations or untrue.
Cuz, the GOP is apparently against these lies but not The Big Lie that many of their members perpetuate.
