Nice job, CNN. You gave a platform for Trump to lie, with his audience of cheering supporters, knowing he’d lie and further disparage the woman he was just found liable for sexually abusing. You’ve jumped into the propaganda machine, too.
Dominion is suing Fox News for defamation, spreading lies about their voting systems in support of The Big Lie about the 2020 election. In recently released discovery, Fox News hosts and execs had called The Big Lie “ludicrous” and “BS” among other things in private text messages. And yet they repeated false statements over and over out of fear of losing their audience. Which seems to show that Fox News will lie for ratings.
Don’t accept a news channel that will knowingly lie to you.
Half Moon Bay. Monterey Park. Chicago. Robinsonville. Baton Rouge. Shreveport. Houston. Fort Pierce. Goshen. Rockford. That’s not even all of them in the past week.
It’s so frequent we are numb to it. Maybe that’s why most of America continues to do nothing?
Seriously, why do we make these weather reporters stand outside in a literal hurricane to tell us that there’s a hurricane going on?
Man, sometimes you’ve just got to avoid the news.
I try to stay up to date on most of the big, important news. But it’s impossible to stay current on all of it. Thankfully, some news trends are ones I will happily ignore.
And the news cycle shifts from COVID and the pandemic to war in Ukraine…
